How to get in the shape of your life?

So if you’re setting a big goal, such as getting in shape for your wedding, birthday, trip of a lifetime or you’re simply sick of feeling like you do.

Taking the wedding example, you’ve already got a lot to think about with just the wedding, let alone the expense but if you want to make sure you’re going to look back on those memories and capture the moment just as you see it, then here’s how you can start…

Well, this is where coming to an expert can help… cough cough…

You’ve got one main ingredient that certain helps; a deadline.

Now, with changing your body shape, we’re talking about body composition.

Often, you’ll want to lose some weight and look ‘toned’ - so to look nice and toned, you actually want to look about a year in advance so that you can take some time to build muscle as that’s what really gives you the toned look you desire.

So what you’ll need is:

  1. A plan that maps out where you need to be and when - experience of what it takes for the end result to then reverse engineer what’s needed.

  2. Actions that are aligned to the start of the plan and is programmed to have room for sticking points, dieting breaks and necessary adjustments.

  3. Weekly tracking of the results against the plan

  4. Decision making in accordance with the goal

  5. Knowledge and experience on how to implement the actions needed to get you to where you need to be

  6. Programming for training, nutrition and activity levels

  7. Experience in knowing different ways to get things done, encouragement, support, being crystal clear and building a relationship with a coach you can trust to confide in, someone who can push you when you need it and listen to any concerns or questions you have along the way

Before I ever had a coach, I would have thought that the price of coaching would have been expensive tbh but since I started having a coach, I got to the physique I always wanted (toned!), I kept it and then have gone on to become a competitive body builder, winning titles and my professional card versus 20 odd years of struggling with dieting, not knowing what to do training; all that time I spent doing the wrong things versus a bit of an investment to actually get results. I fully believe in what I deliver to my clients and my pricing isn’t ridiculous either. And also, if you don’t think you’re getting value for money, then you can always cancel; or if you don’t want to hire a coach, you can spend the rest of your time doing what you’ve always done…
